Karina Holden for Australian Geographic

Karina is known as a dynamic leader in the film and television industry working in both the independent sector as a Creative Producer, Writer, Director and Executive.

She has been heading up Northern Pictures Factual since 2013. Karina is a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Emmy) and has been recognised by the Australian Financial Reviews 100 Women of Influence for her work in film making. In 2021 she was named the UNSECO City of Film, Sydney Film Maker of the year.

In 2022 she and Northern Pictures won 3 Emmy awards for being co-creator and executive producer of Love on the Spectrum (Australia and U.S. editions).
