Photographic Essay by Jonathan Camí

The Balkans was a 5000 kilometres road trip in 2009. I was drawn to this part of Europe by the constant change in landscape every few kilometres, but also by the physical, human and religious panorama. Along with an intense longing to know and understand the setting of so much history, both past and present. These photos are the result of this trip, which took place through Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia and Bosnia.
